I've decided, now that midterms are over, to open up for commissions on pet portraits this year for the holidays. My last backorders will be wrapped up soon, and I'm looking to make a couple more for the Christmas season. I have probably three slots open that I can roll with.

The pet portraits make awesome gifts and the small ones are super cute. Orders close by December first so make sure you get your portrait reserved if you're interested.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of going to a family member's wedding and I offered them a risky gift. I was going to do a live painting, but I also wanted to get it done by the reception so I could dance and eat dinner with my family. 🤣

I spent about 3 hours on this impressionistic 8"x10" for the bride and groom and they loved it. I'd like to refine the process a bit and be able to offer it as another service of the studio.

Over the summer my extended family did a week long vacation at twin birches in lake George, NY. The pier at the lakefront gave me this view of the mountains surrounding the lake, and the Minnie HaHa as she makes her turn around the lake to head back on her hour-long tour.

I put off finishing this piece for a solid month. It was my first time using gouache.

I hit a mid point on her and just got frustrated. I pushed through and pulled it out today.
