Zuccotti Park examines the human side of the economic system in America.

From September through November of 2011, people of every age, race, profession and ethnicity gathered in parks across the country to protest the financial decimation of ninety-nine percent of the American public at the hands of the remaining one percent. The protesters adopted the mantra, “We Are the 99%,” and their campaign became known as the Occupy Movement. A new play called ZUCCOTTI PARK, wri

tten by Catherine Hurd with music by Vatrena King, brings the story of these people to life as it documents—in words, music and song—the passionate ideals and tumultuous times of the Movement, in the place where it all started, New York City's Zuccotti Park.

What a showstopper! Theatre and reality have synced up for Emily Jo and Barrett Shepherd. In our Encore presentation of “Rumpelstiltskin and the Game of the Name,” you will see how their characters--Jane and Prince Alfred--meet, fall in love, are wed, and have a baby boy named Ian. In reality, the couple, who met while performing in the 2017 production of Anne of Green Gables at the Opera House, welcomed their first son, William, into the world in December. Congratulations, Shepherd family!
