Zuccotti Park Zuccotti Park examines the human side of the economic system in America.

From September through November of 2011, people of every age, race, profession and ethnicity gathered in parks across the country to protest the financial decimation of ninety-nine percent of the American public at the hands of the remaining one percent. The protesters adopted the mantra, “We Are the 99%,” and their campaign became known as the Occupy Movement. A new play called ZUCCOTTI PARK, written by Catherine Hurd with music by Vatrena King, brings the story of these people to life as it documents—in words, music and song—the passionate ideals and tumultuous times of the Movement, in the place where it all started, New York City's Zuccotti Park.
