For our second Perusal Party of the season, we’re heading to Queens for a New Play Party in Sunnyside! ☀️

We welcome any and all emerging playwrights to submit to share their works-in-progress — over snacks, funky vibes, and drinks during what is sure to be a magical night.

Not a playwright? Come and read to join in on the fun!

This party will take place on Sunday, September 15th at 6pm.

Play submissions are due by 11:59pm EST on 9/1.

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came out to the Oven Reading Series this year! Here are some photos from our SOLD OUT Night 1 of the readings, which featured new plays from Celine Cheung (), Enya Lu (), and Lee Melillo () at East Village Basement () on June 23, 2024.

It was an absolutely magical night, and we’re so proud of our entire cohort for their work!

Personal Pizza Party () is BEYOND THRILLED to be collaborating with The Elif Collective () to bring our flagship program, THE OVEN, back for its second year THIS SUMMER!

Through this collaboration, the Oven will expand and serve not only as a test kitchen for emerging writers, but will also invite a cohort of directors and actors to experiment with new artistic flavors, build community, and gain experience in new work development — all culminating in a STAGED READING SERIES where we serve what we’ve cooked up during the process! 🍽️

Applications will open MARCH 18, and will close on APRIL 1 at 11:59pm EST. Get ready to place your orders! 🧑‍🍳

We hope you take the “whisk” and submit, and we look forward to firing up our Oven together this summer!

3P is excited to announce that we are a LMCC 2024 Manhattan Arts Grants recipient!

’s Manhattan Arts Grants support hundreds of Manhattan-based artists, arts groups and community-focused organizations in accessing private and public funds for the presentation of arts activities in all disciplines with the public, serving communities from Inwood to The Battery.

This year, 3P received funding that will allow us to bring back THE OVEN, our flagship program, for a second year.

THE OVEN allows up to six early-career writers to come together and generate new work in a collaborative environment, culminating in a staged reading series in the summer.

Stay tuned for some BIG announcements regarding this year’s OVEN program, and in the meantime, scroll through and take a look at some of the projects from last year…
