“after the pain and isolation of the pandemic, when rehearsals started at city center, i honestly wasn't sure if i'd be able to do it...or if i even wanted to anymore.

this show healed me. it healed our company. it healed our audiences.

for that, i will be forever grateful to everyone associated with this show.

for all of our moments in these wonderful woods, thank you.

“Rarely have I ever been part of a company that has so much empathy and care for absolutely everyone involved, so my favorite thing about my journey with Into The Woods has been the people. The generosity of spirit and compassion for others that I witnessed, inspired me to do in almost every city we visited, and that not only enriched the experiences I had, but changed me from being a passive observer of life, to a proactive force for action. That wouldn’t have been possible without the inspiration and support from the entire Into The Woods team.” - Jim Stanek

“It's hard to imagine a more complete experience. This show, this year, in this way. There's the piece itself - a level of genius I can't wrap my head around. There's the living inside of it with this dedicated family of artists, creatives, and technicians. And then, of course, there's our life outside of it. Our whole life...the family we brought with us. It's been such an exhilarating, challenging blend of fairy tale and reality - where sometimes you even forget which is which. But if our show teaches us anything, it's that you can't quite have it all. And yet, looking back...even if just for a moment, it felt as though maybe we did.” - Sebastian Arcelus

"My favorite part of my journey with Into the Woods has been getting to bring this show to people who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to see it in NYC. Nothing quite beats getting to hear the insane amount of laughter, oohs, and aahs, quite like the show provokes from you.” - Ximone Rose

Favorite tradition?: “WONDERSTUDY WEDNESDAY. What an amazing tradition that was formed during the Broadway sit down and continued during the tour. Being an understudy is an amazing job and opportunity. We are some of the hardest working individuals on Broadway and we often get a lot of flack and no praise. So it’s so wonderful to get celebrate us once a week.”

“I am so grateful to have been an original member of this glorious Broadway production of INTO THE WOODS. To share this beautiful score and story - presented in such a stunningly magical way - to all the wonderfully exuberant audiences across the country - will live on in all our hearts. And OMG! Playing with this delicious company has been a gift that I will cherish ‘for forever... after!’” - Paul Kreppel

Albert Guerzon shares his favorite .

“One of my favorite moments in my woods journey was watching the show here in LA. In NY I was an onstage dance captain. I wasn't able to really watch the show from the house. When I did I was looking for traffic patterns, safety issues and numbers. When I arrived in LA I was able to watch the show not as a dance captain and just sit back and be inspired. Witnessing tears, laughter, and couples holding hands during different parts of the show reminded me of how this show touches you in so many different ways. It's powerful and it's because of those friends of mine on stage.

A backstage tradition that has carried through from Broadway is our witches rap and ACT 2 puppet entrance choreography. It has served as warm up and open level dance class for those of us who don't go to class anymore. Maybe some of us should go back to class? Myself included. I love when the crew and wardrobe department join us. There is so much love and energy back there.

I will miss all of these beautiful souls. They have inspired me, taught me, pranked me, and I have pranked them all in return. Cindy says ‘opportunity is not a lengthy visitor.’ I realize how blessed I am to have been part of New York City Center, Broadway and the surprise opportunity to close out this tour. This cast, past and present, has made it worth the journeying.”

Felicia Curry on her favorite moments with her castmates: “There is another show happening backstage that I wish the world could see! The high fives after the Witch’s transformation, my dive into Granny’s spot under the bed, my handshake with Gavin before he gets in the bed as the Wolf, our arm workout during ‘Stay with Me’, doing the electric slide during ‘Giants in the Sky’, our DP-inspired dance party during First Midnight, my hug with Katy during the Witch’s Rap, my embellished bow exchange with Montego during the end of the opening, watching the Royals cross the stage with Jason, circling up before places to honor each other and breathe together and Wonderstudy Wednesday! We have as much fun backstage as we do onstage and I am going to miss being silly with this bunch. I love this group so much and I have been forever changed by this experience. I am incredibly grateful to each and every person who was part of this moment in the woods.”

"Being with the show since City Center, I've gotten to see so many performers I've looked up to for years take these iconic roles and make them their own. Seeing the differences in how each of them would play their characters has been so cool to witness. I'm definitely going to miss seeing this cast everyday more than anything. Getting to work with this group of people has been one of the best parts of this experience." - Cole Thompson
