This was JACK's first real attempt at painting angles, depth of field and point of view perspective and we say he did a great job of it. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and Old Saint Nick is checking up on who is naughty and nice - and Jack captured it all in one tidy scenario. Merry Christmas to all! Thanks Jack!

As we approach the Eve of all Hallows, JACK is beginning to bone up on some spooky classics. Here is Jack's astounding and atmospheric vision of "The Headless Horseman" from 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.' Dark and dangerous, the horrible Hessian may frighten Ichabod Crane but here he is just awe-inspiring on Jack's canvas. Boo!

Here's another unusual creature brought to acrylic life by JACK's amazing brushes. This is a "Pink Empusa Mantis" and I'm glad that I've only run into one of these on Jack's canvas and didn't find one in my backyard. It's a tribute to Jack's talent that he can take such a creepy creature and turn it into a thing of beauty on a canvas panel.

BIRTE's been busy with school and friends but still found time to add to her Moomin collection with this acrylic rendition of the character of Snufkin - he's Moomintroll's best friend and also the latest addition to Birte's Moomin's lineup. It's a great thing when kids continue to practice their art and their imagination when their lessons are done. Better to be creative than to be playing on a phone during their spare time! Way to go, Birte!
