This lady is overjoyed to announce that she held a Bridgerton themed wedding on June 13, 2026. Many guests dressed up for the elegant occasion in their Regency era best. The wedding party walked down the aisle to the theme song from the hit Netflix show. The nuptials took place at a historic estate that looks just like a set from the show itself.

Whatever your feelings about the India storyline, one line has always stood out to me:

"Our child will always be a Bridgerton, but I should like them to know that they are a Sharma as well."

Because when you really think about it, that is one of the most romantic things Anthony Bridgerton has ever said.

And there is something incredibly beautiful about a husband loving his wife so deeply that he wants their child to know her world, her heritage, and where she came from not as an afterthought, but as something worth celebrating from the very beginning.

That, to me, is romance.

One thing Bridgerton actually did surprisingly well? The Featherington husbands. 👀

And Harry Dankworth deserves his flowers for this.

We know he and Prudence had a moment of being “familiar” once but what stands out isn’t that, it’s what came after.

He didn’t pressure her. He didn’t push. He didn’t treat her discomfort like something to ignore or override. He stepped back, gave her space, and waited until she was genuinely ready.

In a world where so many relationships in that universe (and even in fiction in general) are built on pressure, expectation, or entitlement, that quiet respect actually stands out more than anything dramatic.

It’s subtle, but it matters.

So yes… maybe we need to talk more about the Featherington husbands appreciation agenda. 😭

Because respect, patience, and consent should never be the bare minimum we overlook.
