Member Calling for Don't Give Up Choir NY　＜NYメンバー募集＞

Due to the pandemic, we have been on hiatus for over 5 years, but we have heard many voices calling for us to resume. The choir was formed initially as a community choir to support victims of Japan's 3.11 tsunami disaster in 2011, but later began supporting the Orange Gospel, a child abuse prevention campaign, through gospel music. We have also performed at numerous gospel events in the United States, including the McDonald's Gospel Fest and the Apollo Theater's Christmas event, as well as the Youth Assembly at the United Nations. Additionally, we have appeared on FOX and PIX11.

We will sing in English, but rehearsals will be in Japanese. We are looking for individuals who can understand Japanese or non-Japanese speakers interested in singing with Japanese people. We plan to participate in various events held in the United States and Japan. There is a "Don't Give Up" Choir in Japan, so people can join them, of course.

パンデミックの影響で、5年以上活動を休止していましたが、再開を望む声を私たちは何度も聞いてきました。このクワイアは、当初は、2011年の3.11津波被災者を支援するために結成されたコミュニティ合唱団でしたが、その後、ゴスペル音楽を通して児童虐待防止キャンペーン「オレンジゴスペル」への支援活動も始めました。また、マクドナルド・ゴスペルフェストやアポロシアターのクリスマスイベント、国連など、多くのアメリカでのゴスペルイベントにも出演し、FOXやPIX11 などにも度々出演の機会をいただきました。

歌は英語で行いますが、リハーサルは日本語で行います。日本語が理解できる方、または日本人の方と一緒に歌うことに興味のある日本人以外の方々を募集しています。アメリカと日本の3州で開催される様々なイベントに参加予定です。日本にもDon't Give Upクワイアがあるので、もちろん、そちらにも参加することができます。NYで歌いたい人、大歓迎です！
