I thought of writing something lighthearted, like a play on words with the World Wide Web vs the Wood Wide Web and how we are doing it all wrong over here, above earth —
But it all feels too heavy for that. The sky is a mirror and so are we. Hug a tree, hug yourself. Hug your enemy. Turns out both our hearts beat and if we hugged long enough, they might even sync up.

The world is rotating in a direction that I walk in opposition of. Like a treadmill. I hope it gets better. 🫂

when you’re too self aware to even write a caption because you’re really just posting pictures of your self and it is consciously egoic but you also are aware of the concept of self love and in practice of it, so then you post it anyway and then you write a short caption but you wonder if people will get the tone so then you overcompensate with a really honest caption so that you can remain humble in the public eye oh Jesus help us all

She came to the big apple — hungry
met the winter chill — humbly
fell in love with the people — wholly
watched the devil burn — suddenly
found God in the shadows — unanticipatedly

Her free will seems to only be an illusion and when she looks back at the road she sees how deeply guided she’s been. None of this has been for nothing.

To see the world is a privilege.
How the sounds, tastes, and tones carry themselves across cultures.
A window into a way of being, a way of seeing
A simultaneous belonging everywhere and nowhere
To someone, and to no one.
To the stranger on the train who guided you home, or to the kind barista who added an extra bit of love to your tea.
Do you need to be seen by the world to remember you are part of it…or can you find freedom in the anonymity on the outside from the birds eye view.
