Olander graduated with his BFA in Theatre from the University of South Carolina where he was thoroughly trained in Sanford Meisner, Method Acting, and Konstatin Stanislavski techniques. He’s been teaching acting for over a decade and acting professionally for 7+ years. As a working Actor, he knows the process of the audition hustle, juggling 4,5 jobs, being homeless, perfecting his craft, teaching

acting classes, wondering where the next meal is coming from, running to last-minute auditions, and booking last-minute Commercial & Tv/Film gigs. He has taught acting on every level of education from Middle School to High School to Performance Arts Schools & Colleges to Network Series Regulars, you name it, Olander has been there and done that.

Most people think “quiet on set” just means stop talking. It’s bigger than that. When you call “hold for sound,” you wait. You wait until there’s no sound at all. Then the scene starts.

What a week for our student Eva! Her senior year has been super busy applying to and auditioning for colleges - so you know what that means, countless self tapes, coaching, edits, applications etc. I’ve been working with Eva for the past 5+ years, so to witness front row how’s she’s grown as an artist and as a young lady is nothing short of inspiring.

Not only did she get accepted into but she also got accepted into and other colleges. Her Hard work is paying off but the real work is just getting started. Keep an eye and ear out for what she has cooking next. She got NOW & NEXT! 🎓
