Angela Nikolau: Art at the Edge ⚡️

Angela Nikolau has recently drawn global attention for a high-altitude performance in New York — her work was previously presented at FOCUS Art Fair.

Known for her fearless approach to height, risk, and image-making, she’s one of the most experimental artists working today, pushing the boundaries between art, performance, and urban exploration.

Born into a circus family and trained in painting at the Moscow Academy of Arts, she developed an early understanding of fear, resilience, and self-imposed limits — an understanding that became the language of her work.

This year’s Publisher Booths brought together a diverse group of independent publishers, artist-led initiatives, and print projects, each offering unique perspectives on contemporary art, design, culture, and visual storytelling.

Through books, magazines, editions, and printed matter, these publishers created spaces for discovery, reflection, and dialogue—reminding us that art is not only experienced through exhibitions, but also through the ideas that continue to circulate beyond them.✨
