May 22nd — Alice Tully Hall - The Juilliard School
This day arrived so quickly. This is one of the most beautiful and fulfilling experiences of my life, I can’t believe that it has come to a close. My time at Juilliard was eye-opening and challenging on a whole, completely different level than what I expected. Because of this place and with time, I’ve become more sure of myself as both an artist and a person. I am tremendously proud of myself for what I have achieved in my time here and what I am going to create next. The best gift that I’ve received is the opportunity to meet such wonderful, driven, and caring people. I want to thank my teachers, the staff, and my peers for creating a community that feels like a second home. You all have influenced me greatly, I can’t wait to work with you all again!
I especially want to thank my family. Thank you for answering my late calls, listening to my drafts, and supporting me — I wouldn’t be doing any of this without you all. Mama, thank you for getting me here.
There are too many memories, experiences, and new discoveries that has made this incredibly difficult to leave, but I am leaving with goals, plans, and ideas. Thank you to everyone for your encouragement and support in my continuing journey.
We will be seeing each other again! Till our next adventures (yes, plural)!! Love you all! :)
