We’re seeking a Social Media Manager who can create across disciplines: editing engaging social-first video, designing strong graphics, and writing compelling copy for our platforms.

You’ll create content around exhibitions, artist stories, international programming, and the moments happening across the MONAD community, while helping develop our voice and grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond.

The ideal candidate understands art, culture, design, and social media, has a strong visual eye, and knows how to turn an idea or raw material into content that feels intentional and relevant.

Video editing, copywriting and graphic design experience are required.

“GUIDED BY LIGHT: GABRIEL CERQUEIRA” 🎥☀️ Our latest editorial spotlights Brazilian cinematographer Gabriel Cerqueira, whose practice is deeply connected to his hometown of Salvador, Brazil. Growing up surrounded by its distinct atmosphere, Gabriel learned to look closely at the world around him and allow his surroundings to shape his creations.

His approach to cinematography is rooted in simplicity. Rather than relying on elaborate equipment, he often works with what is available, allowing natural light to guide the image. What began with a phone camera in 2012 has grown into a practice shaped by experimentation and a desire to keep learning.

For Gabriel, filmmaking is an invitation into the lives of others. Through his work, he hopes audiences can feel the warmth of the places he captures and connect with the people within them. After moving through a difficult period in his personal life, he now carries a renewed appreciation for life into the films he creates.

As his practice continues to evolve, Gabriel is exploring new possibilities and approaches to creating and finding new ways to expand what he can express through the camera.

“SEEING TRUTH” 🪞📸 Our latest editorial spotlights photographer Mia André, whose work explores the intimacy of being seen and the freedom found in expressing oneself without restraint.

Moving between New York and Paris, Mia’s perspective has been shaped by the distinct character of both cities, alongside the influence of her Haitian father, who is also a photographer. At the center of her work is a curiosity about human connection and the moments when people feel free enough to reveal themselves honestly.

Vulnerability has become an important part of how Mia approaches photography. Rather than allowing conventional ideas of beauty to dictate what belongs in the frame, she has learned to follow what feels genuine to her. In doing so, her images become an extension of her own perspective rather than a response to what she thinks an audience expects to see.

Beyond photography, Mia is drawn to creating experiences that allow her work to exist in more tangible ways, from books to live shows and other physical spaces. Ultimately, she hopes her work can encourage others to trust their own point of view and feel free to express the worlds they want to see.

Our photography community has been so good to us over the past few years, and we want to pay it forward.

For Paris Fashion Week SS27, MONAD will fly one photographer to Paris to participate in our pop-up exhibition and experience Paris Fashion Week firsthand.

Outside of the exhibition, the selected photographer will have free time to explore the city, attend events, and create new work amongst the energy of Paris Fashion Week.

🌍 MONAD WILL COVER:

* Round-trip flights to Paris
* Airport transportation to and from your accommodation
* Accommodation in Paris
* Production of your exhibition prints
* Participation in MONAD’s Paris Fashion Week pop-up exhibition

It’s been such a privilege to experience the world through the lens of MONAD Gallery, and now we want to open our world up to one of you. 🌍🧡

📸 APPLICATION DETAILS:

* Application deadline: September 12, 2026
* Exhibition dates: October 2–3, 2026
* Application fee: Free to apply
* Age requirement: 21+
* Eligibility: Open to photographers based in the USA and EU
* Passport: Applicants must have a valid passport at the time of application and be legally permitted to enter France
* How to apply: Apply through the link in bio
* Photo submission: Submit two existing photographs within the theme of editorial and/or fashion photography
* Published or unpublished work: Both are permitted
* Ownership: Photographers retain full ownership of their work
* Commission: MONAD takes 0% commission on artwork sales, as standard
* Review period: Applications will be reviewed by Dez Amakye between August 30 and September 11
* Selection: One photographer will be selected for the Paris opportunity

As MONAD expands, we’re looking to tell the stories of the incredible artists we encounter around the world in more meaningful ways. 🌍🧡

We’re seeking someone with strong instincts for pacing, sound, color, and visual storytelling. You’ll edit exhibition recaps, artist stories, social content, and future MONAD programming.

The ideal candidate understands culture, art, strategy, and how to turn raw footage into work that feels intentional. We’re looking for someone who can bring ideas to the table and continue to MONAD’s creative direction.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is required.

“THE ART OF BECOMING” 🪞📸 Our latest editorial spotlights Nigerian photographer Unavailable P. His work explores the internal struggles people carry as they move through uncertainty and find their way toward transformation.

His practice blends documentary storytelling with editorial styling to explore contemporary life in Africa, drawing from his own upbringing in Nigeria. His photographs consider the experiences that shape us and the stories that often go unseen.

For Unavailable P, photography is a way to make what is felt, visible. Through portraiture, he challenges familiar representations of African life while creating images that allow his subjects to be seen with much greater depth.

As his practice continues to evolve, Unavailable P. is interested in expanding and creating larger narrative projects that can live beyond the screen. He hopes to bring his work into exhibitions and books, creating photographs that stay with people and encourage them to consider their own journey of becoming.
