For Sanford Meisner the foundation or seed of acting is the reality of doing. The reality that, as is in life, on stage we are at every moment doing. Working this way our emotions come freely, as a side benefit, a gift, when our attention is on something else. That something else is what we are doing. It takes us out of our head, freeing us to work off our impulses. It is finally how we bring the text to life. Over three sessions we will touch on this and other foundational elements of his method.

Who is it for?
This workshop is for the acting student new to Meisner Technique and the one who wants to reintroduce themself with the core of what he called "Living truthfully under imaginary circumstances."
