The Padlock Chopper: Miniature Scrap Metal Scooter
A brilliantly clever miniature scooter sculpture handcrafted entirely from upcycled industrial hardware. The central body and engine of the moped are formed by a heavy, vintage brass Yale padlock, while the front and rear wheels are creatively represented by large, heavily rusted industrial hex nuts.
The frame and front forks are constructed from welded wrenches and curved steel bars, featuring a tiny brass headlight, delicate handlebars with miniature grips, and a small bicycle bell. Additional meticulous details include a tiny roller chain connecting miniature sprockets on the rear wheel, and a small leather seat mounted on dual suspension springs. The entire piece is proudly displayed on a rustic wooden beam against a weathered concrete backdrop.
