Adding stunts into the practice day is one of our favorite ways to break the ice and get the girls to step out of their comfort zones. It’s also a way to get some giggles in. The ladies learn to trust themselves and their teammates and they learn that it’s okay to “do it scared”, knowing that their team will always catch them if they fall. ❤️

FROM THE DESK OF MZ. DOC: Illness kept me from doing a lot last season, including the Ruey Classic. You know I had to be “out of it” to not publicly celebrate SoulPhamm’s 5th Anniversary and my hubby’s birthday (and retire Rufus’ Jersey). But alas … IT IS TIME.

The clubs of SoulPhamm will go head to head in a series of competitions vying for Squad of The Year with the winner will be crowned at the 2027 Ruey Classic. Brooklyn is going to tie it up this season by EVERY MEANS NECESSARY 😈.

Tonight, the majorettes learned their squads. The sorority will learn their squads tomorrow. The battle begins next Thursday!

Stay tuned for the squad announcement next weekend. LET THE MAYHEM BEGIN!

Step will return to SoulPhamm in 2027 (once Mz. Doc is cleared to Coach again). This is the tryout step she teaches every step team (over 20 years 🤣). You could see the moment it went so terribly wrong! If we weren’t paying for the space by the hour, we would have been there all night 🤣🤣🤣🤣
