CAMILA GRISEL H. H. (She/Ella) (Stage Manager) is delighted to engage with fellow latinx folks thru this spooky production. Born and raised in the borderland, she is new to the big apple and currently working at Manhattan Theatre Club as the Company Management Trainee. Gracias mamá, papá, abuelos, Ravi, Oli, Pisa y Linda. The little one whispers “¿Porqué me abandonaste?” Her mother cries “¡Justicia!” Thirty years later, the house is full of their anguish… As Antonio crosses the threshold, will he ever be the same again?

Meet the Angustias team!

RAFA PÉREZ (he/him/él)(Director) recently returned to New York City after teaching theatre at the University of Texas at El Paso for four years. Rafa had the pleasure of directing Clue: On Stage at UTEP this spring and is excited to have a directorial debut in New York. As an actor, he has theatre, film and voice-over credits in El Paso and New York City. Other favorite projects include playing Valentin in the stage play Kiss of the Spider Woman, and Tacho in Into the Beautiful North. www.rafaperez.info

ANGEL J. RIVAS (Antonio) is an actor/writer from West New York, New Jersey. Most recently, he was seen as Armando, in "The Armando Project", also by Orlando F. Rodriguez. He's grateful to be leading this play and is always excited and honored to help other latinx writers tell the stories of our people. Angel thanks his friends and family for their continued support. Meet the Angustias team!

JILLIAN K. WATERS (Judit) is thrilled to be part of this incredible production. She has most recently been seen on stage as Marisol, in Marisol and on film as Veronica in M*KER with the Hat with the Denizens Theatre Company, NY. She is also a proud lifetime member of the Actors Studio. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, she found her path to NYC by way of spending her childhood in Japan and England. She earned her BFA from Emerson College and her MFA from The Actors Studio at Pace University. She is honored to be a NYC teaching artist with the CUNY Creative Arts Team and a recent lecturer with the department of theatre and dance at the University of Texas at El Paso. She sends a special thanks to this wonderful and talented team of artists that made these performances possible. She would also like to thank her family, friends and you! LLUVIA ALMANZA (Carmen) An actress and director, Lluvia has appeared in over 20 stage productions across New York and the US/Mexico border. Recently played the role of Jane in Smoking is Bad for You! at the Players Theatre and D in Sabor at Schapiro Studio. Film credits include over 10 films: Cleo y Los Cabrones, Mayra, Broga, Never Forget. Her television credits include “Dead of Night”.
