🩸HYSTERIA LANE 🩸

Hysteria lane explores the unjust stereotypes, taboos, and poverty of periods. The four pieces in this collection are made entirely from hand dyed tampons. Reverend Sophie’s practice explores ways of creating conversation in society through the use of unconventional and questionable materials, as displayed through this miniature collection. Bringing the collection into a full circle moment, each piece has been shot by Hannah Sommer in different public toilets both in London and New York. Finding grungy and rundown toilets created a juxtaposition of the high fashion garments and the surroundings, which translates back to the negative stereotypes often associated with periods 🩸🩸🩸

Running a business with these two has been nothing but utter chaos, giggles and constant running around London with a million bags and sushi trays, and I wouldn’t have it any other way ! 👩‍👩‍👧👑💞

We’re 2 years in and have been to 3 different countries on business trips, 2 shops, 5 showscases, 12,000 sushi trays, 80 + designers, What?! So bloody proud of us, and there’s sooooo much more to come! 🪩
