Turns out, people really like being handed pumpkins and sharp tools. 🎃🔪

We’ve taught thousands of people to carve at corporate events, museums, festivals and celebrations around the country — from guided classes and team-building challenges to drop-in studios for hundreds of guests.

For younger crowds (and plenty of adults), we also offer no-carve pumpkin decorating activations.

Popular add-ons include pre-scooped pumpkins and spreads of seasonal veggies, mini gourds and Halloween candy to use as creative construction materials — or snack on while you work. 🎃🍬

We bring the artists, tools and pumpkin know-how. You bring the people.

We’ve carved a LOT of famous faces over the years. 🎃

Actors. Musicians. Athletes. Monsters. Muppets. A few people we’re pretty sure never expected to see themselves carved into a fruit.

But Halloween 2026 is coming, which means it’s time to add some new faces to the Maniac archives.

There’s something especially fun about carving pumpkins in a place where the inspiration is growing all around you. 🎃🌿

At Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Fall Harvest Festival, we turned some of the Garden’s most recognizable plants and collections into pumpkin art — from bonsai, roses and magnolias to koi and the wonderfully weird (and on brand for us) co**se flower.

One of our favorite parts of live carving is watching people stop, get curious, ask questions, and see the image slowly emerge from the pumpkin. It turns what’s often a pretty solitary studio process into something shared.

Swipe through for a closer look at some of the carvings — and a little of what it looks like when the pumpkin studio moves into the Garden.

We will return to Brooklyn Botanic Garden for the 2026 Fall Harvest Festival Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

13 pumpkins. One very magical Halloween project. 🎃

For Halloween Time at Disneyland, we created a collection of custom pumpkin artwork inspired by the characters, attractions, treats and little details that make the season there so special.

The pumpkins became part of a much larger multimedia campaign — and our job didn’t end when the carving tools came down.

Our team photographed each finished piece in-house and captured video and timelapse throughout the process, giving the Disneyland team a library of original Halloween content to use across their social channels.

Projects like this are some of our favorites: when the pumpkin isn’t just the finished artwork — it’s the beginning of the content.

And yes… carving 13 Disneyland pumpkins was exactly as much fun as it sounds. 🎃🏰
