Happy Belated Birthday JB
Continuing our look back at 2021, we welcomed Buglisi Dance Theatre and Dance/NYC to campus on September 11th for the Table of Silence Project, an annual performance ritual for peace that pays tribute to those lost on 9/11. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the tragic events of that day.

Yesterday we took part in New York City's official day of remembrance on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. The day began with the Table of Silence Project, a moving ritual for peace paying tribute to all the lives lost, presented in partnership with Buglisi Dance Theatre and Dance/NYC.
Later in the evening, The Metropolitan Opera presented Verdi's Requiem, performed indoors with audio from the performance broadcast onto the plaza, as it was illuminated sky blue as part of the city-wide memorial.
