Hey folks,
I’ve been getting a lot of questions from people who’ve just decided to give painting a try, asking what’s really needed to start oil painting. So I put together a complete starter kit (paints, brushes, canvas, mediums, even the easel).

I’d love your thoughts - what would you add or remove to make it even more useful for someone taking their first steps in oil painting?
For Example: I’ve been debating myself: should a beginner go for an A-frame easel (simpler to move around) or an H-frame (much more stable, but heavier)? An easel is usually a once-in-a-lifetime purchase, so maybe it’s wiser to invest in the H right away? This question still bugs me a little.
