The exhibitions “La mort de l’amour” and “Ménage à trois” are open at Lévy Gorvy Dayan in London—presenting compelling works by Surrealist icon Leonor Fini and Polish contemporary painter Aleksandra Waliszewska.

Generations apart, the artists are united by a shared exploration of love, s*x, and death. The paintings and works on paper on display—some never before exhibited—convey transgressive ideas and visions that, in dialogue, garner unique insights into Fini’s powerful legacy and Waliszewska’s singular artistic voice.

The exhibitions will be on view at 35 Dover Street, London, through December 20th, 2025.

Michelangelo Pistoletto’s new installation stands beside the Great Pyramids of Giza as part of the fifth edition of Art D’Égypte’s exhibition Forever Is Now.

This unique initiative brings together Pistoletto’s Arte Povera legacy with a vision for artistic development and cross-cultural exchange. Set against the timeless backdrop of ancient wonders, “Forever Is Now” transforms history into a living conversation between past, present, and future — a testament to the enduring power of art to connect worlds and generations.

“Representing the fusion between the natural world and the world created by humanity, The Third Paradise (Il Terzo Paradiso) is a worldwide artistic symbol conceived by the Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto. Its emblem, a reconfiguration of the mathematical infinity sign with a third central circle, signifies a new balance — a third phase of humanity that transcends the conflict between the natural and the artificial to give birth to a sustainable and responsible civilization.” — Michelangelo Pistoletto

As Halloween approaches, works by Leonor Fini, Aleksandra Waliszewska, and Stanislao Lepri that conjure the darker side of imagination and myth are on view at Lévy Gorvy Dayan in London.

In otherworldly compositions, these artists explore subjects that range from witchcraft to vampiric seduction and the living dead. Their work powerfully reflects the enduring fascination with the supernatural as a mirror to the human psyche—presenting demons, skeletons, and other creatures as part of sumptuous meditations on love, mortality, beauty, and the uncanny.

Visit “La mort de l’amour” and “Ménage à trois” at our Mayfair location on 35 Dover Street, London, open through December 20, 2025.

Lévy Gorvy Dayan, in collaboration with Xavier Hufkens, presents Thomas Houseago’s monumental sculpture “Flower & Death” (2018/24, cast 2025) as part of the Art Basel Paris Public Program.

“Flower & Death” is a pivotal work in Houseago’s oeuvre; here, a skeletal figure emerges from a towering flower—a spectral form that evokes decay and rebirth. With its inaugural presentation in bronze during the Art Basel Paris Public Program, the sculpture gains new symbolic depth—the vulnerability of bronze to oxidation and erosion echoing the transformation of the work since its inception in 2018, and evoking the impermanence of both the human body and the natural world.

The history of this monumental work is specific to the city of Paris. The sculpture originally debuted as “Wood Skeleton I (Father)” (2018) in Houseago’s solo exhibition “Almost Human” at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (2019). Since then, the work has undergone a meaningful transformation that parallels the artist’s own experience. One year following this solo exhibition, Houseago experienced a mental health crisis in 2020 and renounced sculpture. Following a prolonged period of recovery and rehabilitation, during which he continued his artistic practice through painting and drawing, he has recently returned to sculpture. This turning point of renewal brought him back to the present work. Originally a tribute to the artist’s late father, Houseago hewed what was once a casket into a flower—a vessel for new life—revealing the powerful themes of nature, birth, and regeneration that define his current practice.
