My latest. I am finding that 3 is the magic number of materials/forms I prefer to use. In this case acrylic on wood cube, wood sphere and wire hangers. Used an Earth color triad of Payne’s gray, burnt sienna, yellow oxide.

I get as excited by packing materials and garbage as I do for the actual things I purchase. Ok, maybe a little bit more so. Clockwise from top left is the paper wrapping from some chicken wings, tissue paper that came with new pajamas, and bottom left is wrapping that came with a new kimono style jacket. This already looks good, should I collage it down and call it a day?

My tiny cube sculptures are usually intended for a smile for me or the viewer, but this one was born out of frustration for our outgoing president and the mess he has created for our country. Worst president ever and can't believe it has happened in my lifetime. Wednesday can't happen soon enough. I am selling this Trump Cube for $100 with free shipping in the US. 100% of the sale will be donated to the Black Lives Matter Movement. Need to start somewhere to heal.
