“An artist is never complete. Our training is never finished. Every year I can see meaningful growth in myself as a woman and artist from consistent effort and showing up. It took me 300 unsuccessful auditions to realize how much I learned from them. And this is why mentorship is so important to me as both a teacher and a student. Developing an artist is an act of love for not only the student, but for the world around us who will be impacted by the art they make. I’m so thankful to every teacher who pushed me, let me cry, and unlocked potential I didn’t know I had. I seek to create that environment for my students every day with bloom.“
