It is my sincerest honor to wish the incomparable Sara Scott, Author a very happy audio release week for her incredibly poignant, deeply moving, unflinchingly raw, beautifully redemptive novel, THE TOUCH OF HER VOICE!

I will never forget the day I met Sara in person this past summer. I was struck by her openness and warmth and knew instantly that she is a wholly genuine person who leads with a kind and generous heart. Not only does this first impression capture the essence of Sara in her day-to-day life, but exemplifies exactly the kind of writer she is.

THE TOUCH OF HER VOICE is a story, a literary feast, to be savored as Sara deftly unspools Jensy and Sophie's 13-year journey together as a couple. What is so singular about this love story is that it is not a journey toward their long-awaited and anticipated pairing. Instead, we readers get a sometimes exhilarating, often idyllic, at times brutal and heartrending peek behind the curtain of a relationship that feels so very real and visceral, it will leave you breathless. Sara's writing is a rhapsody - infused with a stirring vulnerability and fragility that feels precious and sacred. There are passages that will forever remain etched on my heart because the beauty with which Sara composes feels otherworldly.

I am humbled beyond words to be trusted with Sara's story...one that inspires us to hope amidst the pain, darkness, and despair...reminds us to find the light in ourselves and each other...serves as a beautiful tribute to the gift that is our messy, imperfect, radically joyous, miraculous lives...and illustrates the transformative power of finding our person.

I will never stop being grateful for our trailblazing sapphic authors like Sara...who are our beacons in the night, who remind us to imagine the better days we can and *will* create, who give us a beautiful escape from the dark to restore our spirits and galvanize us to rise again. Stories like Sara's mean more than ever before and being a conduit for her words is a gift I can never repay.

SHE'S HERE, SHE'S FINALLY HERE! I can finally shout it from the mountaintops (see what I did there? 😉) that the inimitable Rachel Lacey's THE VIEW FROM THE TOP is now available in audio!

Dear readers...I'm afraid you're not ready for Rachel's undeniable brilliance in this utterly gorgeous story that delivers everything you could ever want and MORE. Not only does she start with one of the lushest, most fiery scenes (that unravels over THREE CHAPTERS, folks!) I have ever read in my life - so searingly intimate and stunningly rendered that you may blush all the way down to your toes for at least an hour - she writes Diana and Emily with such tenderness, complexity, depth, and humanity that you would swear you've known them your whole life, then surrounds them with a supporting cast that will endear themselves to you instantly...all against the most stunning backdrop of Crescent Falls. Rachel - how very dare you dream up such an idyllic, dazzlingly sumptuous place and then break our hearts because we cannot actually GO there?! 😭

And I do not say this lightly - the fall vibes of this entire book are IMMACULATE. Again, I'm heartbroken that we all can't go midnight pumpkin picking. Rachel! You're ruining us!

I truly don't know how she does it, but Rachel manages to eclipse herself and all our expectations every. single. release. The View from the Top is an unforgettable experience and a story I know readers will revisit over and over again because it is such a comforting, affirming, transcendent read. It's, in a word, a rhapsody.

Not only is Rachel an unfathomably talented storyteller, she is a remarkable person and we are all so lucky to be in her magnetic orbit. A very happy audio release day to Eada Friesian for her heartfelt story, TAMING OF A REBEL! It was such a joy to bring Tori and Miranda and their vibrant supporting cast to audio! Tori is such a tenderhearted, endearing, genuine soul and the perfect foil to Miranda, who is guarded, cold, and ever in control. I absolutely adore a melting ice queen and Miranda's journey is especially moving, as she is suddenly thrust into parenting her young niece, Rebel, opens herself up to the magic and profound impact of building community and found family, and *might* just fall in love along the way, too! 😉

Wishing the extraordinary GOLDIE WINNER Jenn Alexander an incredible audio release day for her absolutely stunning second chance romance, LIVE IT OUT. Jenn's gift for storytelling is undeniably captivating and I can't help but marvel at how she takes the tropes we readers love to see and turns them on their heads...delivering something so refreshing, heartfelt, and entirely her own. She beautifully anchors her characters in authenticity and emotional truth that is palpable and so deeply felt by her readers. I don't think I could have loved Spencer and Faith more - both are perfect foils to the other - and, of course, being a late bloomer myself, I related so viscerally to Faith's journey to self, which Jenn renders with such infinite care and tenderness. Even after recording the audio so many weeks ago, I struggle to put into words my feelings while reading this masterfully crafted story. LIVE IT OUT stirred such a sweet and enduring nostalgia in me that it was quite difficult to say goodbye to these characters on that final page. I had happy tears brimming my eyes for at least half of this story and felt a true kinship to this cast of characters. It have no doubt that LIVE IT OUT will be added to so many readers' rotation of comfort reads because it is truly a joy to experience.

My unending gratitude to Jenn and the amazing teams at Bywater Books and Tantor Audio for their trust - this story is such a gift. Dear readers...I hope you fall head over heels for Spencer and Faith as quickly as I did and may Jenn's gorgeous story warm your hearts, bring you comfort, and may you see parts of yourself in these wonderful characters.

Wishing the incomparable Persephone Black a most wonderful audio release day for HER MAFIA QUEEN, the stunning conclusion to her Bianchi Family duet!

It has been a privilege to step into Juno Bianchi's sky-high stilettos...to be inspired and moved by her poise, grit, strength, heart, and tenderness. Juno is a complex, complicated, and profoundly compelling protagonist and having the opportunity to embody her has taught me so much about myself - that is the beauty of this genre and what a gift Persephone has given us all. I daresay we could all use a little bit of Juno's badassery in our lives. And what a joy to play a bit as the wild, unruly, stubborn, fiery, fiercely loyal, and deeply lovable Caitlin.

Persephone does the impossible and surpasses what she crafted in HER MAFIA BRIDE. In HER MAFIA QUEEN, Persephone delivers more action, more intrigue, more family strife, more personal sacrifice, more growth, more redemption, more heart...more mind-melting spice! Persephone has burst onto the scene and solidified herself as a titan in sapphic mafia romance and I truly cannot wait to see what she dreams up next!

I am woefully behind on my release announcements, so on this, the 10th of August, in the year of our savior, Chappell Roan, I declare it Adrian J. Smith Day™️!

All silly goose-ry aside, I am thrilled that the final two books of Adrian's truly gorgeous INDIGO series are out in the world in audio. It has been such a joy to embody these deeply human, compelling, fierce, complicated, tenderhearted women...to witness their growth and journey to their truest and most authentic selves, to celebrate their talents and tenacity, to be inspired by their strength and grit as they overcome societal, physical, and personal struggles and, ultimately, find joy. Our hearts break through their struggles, but Adrian, in her truest form, pieces them back together with infinite care.

It is always so bittersweet to say goodbye to a series and its characters - at this point, they feel like dear and treasured friends. I will forever have a soft spot for our dear Eli, who returns book after book with her warmth, steadfast assuredness, and quiet wisdom. And what a joy to see Bridget's redemption arc in the final book, INDIGO: LAW. I fear I may have judged her a bit too harshly in INDIGO: BLUES and now, she is right alongside Eli as one of my favorites in the series.

Eternal gratitude to Adrian for her continued trust, which I cherish more than I can say with words, and the team at Tantor Audio for gifting me the opportunity to take this journey with these remarkable women. And may we all have an Eli in our lives. 🥹

How to encapsulate my big, messy feelings after the Golden Crown Literary Society's conference and Goldie Awards?! Here goes...

I cannot describe the depth of my gratitude for every single connection, every hug, every generous word, every laugh, every meal, every single moment of togetherness. Each and every person present touched my heart in unfathomable ways and when I replay those shimmering memories in my mind, I can't help the tears in my eyes. It is an indescribably euphoric thing...to be with 350 people from your beloved community - sharing our stories, feeling seen, reveling in our collective joys, celebrating our extraordinary milestones, our visibility, our resilience, feeling the deep and profound connection we have because we walk the same path and share similar lived experiences. It is something that a younger version of me thought she'd never have and here you all are...giving me this most cherished gift. This year's conference and awards ceremony felt different - more sacred, more precious, more hallowed. Our theme was "Many Voices - One Community" and those words were vibrant and unbelievably alive in every conversation, every panel discussion, every speech, every single person present. I am so moved, inspired, and in awe of each and every one of you - thank you for so generously sharing your light and your gifts with us all.

And I cannot describe how deeply honored I am to have been recognized at the Goldies alongside the inimitable Rachel Lacey, whose words will forever be etched on my heart. I wouldn't have this beautiful award on my little shelf that my sweet dad hung "just in case" if not for her deeply resonant, heartrending story.

As I said on that podium, we must keep nurturing, telling, and protecting our stories. And while we continue to fight to be visible and bodacious in our joy that is now somehow seen as radical, we MUST be ferocious, dogged, and courageous in our support and advocacy for our trans and non-binary siblings. They are under attack. They are *divine* and deserve to lead joyous, prosperous, peaceful, authentic, free, SAFE, and full lives. We are truly many voices, one community, but none of us is free until ALL of us are free.

It's Christmas in July! I am so thrilled that the extraordinarily talented Johana Gavez's heartfelt holiday romance THIS IS THE SEASON TO MAKE YOU MINE is now officially available in audio! Wishing the incredible Persephone Black a most glorious audio release day for her absolutely stunning book, HER MAFIA BRIDE! When the amazing team at Tantor Audio reached out to me about being one of Persephone's narrators, I think I leapt out of my skin in delight! She burst on the scene delivering these rhapsodic mafia romances with depth, nuance, beauty, humanity, danger, intrigue, action and heart-pounding stakes that will leave readers breathless. As a q***r lady, it can sometimes feel like there isn't space for us sapphics in mafia romance. I cannot tell you how deeply meaningful it is to see Persephone bending the genre and carving out a vital space for us to exist and be seen. I am head over heels for our two leading ladies, Caitlin and Juno, and the entire world that Persephone has masterfully crafted. And what a thrill and immense privilege to step into Juno's razor-sharp, dangerously high stilettos and revel in her quiet but commanding strength. As we have come to expect from Adrian, she has delivered yet another knockout of a story crafted with tenderness, sincerity, poignancy, and care. Adrian handles the friends to lovers trope in such a beautifully unique and delicate way - it is truly so refreshing to see the relationship between Jewel and Lea unfold, evolve, and blossom, in spite of the harsh and incredibly challenging realities of small town, rural America. My infinite gratitude to Adrian for her enduring trust in me as her narrator and the wonderful team at Tantor Audio for bringing me on to voice these beautiful books.

A very happy audio release day to BLOODLINE by the incredible Jenn Alexander! I cannot begin to express how deeply honored I am to have lent my voice to her wonderful story and spend time in this beautiful world she has created. Every single character is brilliantly rendered, impossibly endearing, refreshingly quirky, and with wit and heart to match. Yes, it is a delightfully fun rom com with vampires, but so much of Jenn's story has real-life parallels to the challenges, opposition, and erasure that so many LGBTQ folks face daily and to see these characters triumph and thrive in the face of so much resistance leaves one feeling inspired and hoping for brighter days ahead.

Not only are my fellow nominees legendary talents and luminaries in the industry (some of whom I'm so lucky to call cherished and dear friends - all my love to Lindsey Dorcus and Lori Prince), but the extraordinary Rachel Lacey is a finalist in THREE categories for her revelation of a book, Stars Collide!

Seeing Rachel's brilliant, heartfelt, hilarious, beautifully rendered story recognized in such a huge and meaningful way makes my heart swell with immense pride.
