Cinema Tehran returns to NYC presenting rarely seen films from Egypt and Iran! On Sep 21st, we’ll be at Roxy Cinema New York showing Youssef Chahine’s masterpiece “Cairo Station” alongside Abbas Kiarostami’s “Orderly or Disorderly,” a unique and inventive short film.

Made decades apart, the films offer two radically different cinematic experiences of Cairo and Tehran. One through an unforgettable story of desire and obsession, and the other through a playful observation of order and chaos in everyday life.

And I shall drive my chariot down your streets and cry
Hey, it’s me, I’m dynamite and I don’t know why
And you shall take me strongly in your arms again
And I will not remember that I even felt the pain
We shall walk and talk in gardens all misty wet
All misty wet with rain down
And I will never, never, never grow so old again
