On this 111th anniversary of the Armenian genocide I can’t help but think of other genocides happening in our name. I am saddened by how world history is actually just a collection of mass killings and near extinctions of entire groups of people. I’m also selfishly remembering the best interview I have ever done in my career, an interview with New York-based Armenian-American Dilakian brothers for .ngo and how much joy and laughter they imbued. It really is a gift to make art with your friends, to make art at all. It also makes me think of how important family is in times of great despair and how lucky I am to be able to build a family right now.

Ahhh!! I can't believe we're beginning to see the end of this project. I began collecting interviews January 2025. Through a collaborative process I began working with audio producer Katie Reuther to turn every participant's story into a podcast. We're almost ready to launch this 6 episode limited series June 2026.

These are two of the four acrylic paintings I completed for my friend Aung Harrington at Aung Thai Massage in Essex Junction. I get to see them every time I get a massage in her beautiful studio.

Aung and I met during my first month in Vermont. Upon moving here I knew I had to form an Asian crew quick. I’m glad I did because our friendship is one of the longest I’ve had here.

If you’re looking for a Thai massage in Vermont, I beg you to run to Aung! She’s beyond amazing.

I was taking an intensive 6+ hour daily online class when I met her. My neck hurt everyday and so did my arms. Aung provides immediate relief to all those areas. It’s such a treasure to find quality Thai massage here in Vermont!
