Taught by our team of NYC professionals, Broadway Beginners and Broadway Bound are what you need to become the best performer you can be, no matter if you are brand new or a performing veteran! For three weeks only, our staff of seasoned performers travel from NYC to the newly-renovated, spacious facilities of the Reston Players Rehearsal Hall to teach Broadway performance basics, advanced techniques, and bring all the inside scoop on what it’s like to be on Broadway! Learn how to sing, dance, act, perform, and master audition technique in-person or on video! Are you a new performer? Join Broadway Beginners! Broadway Beginners (July 12-16th, ages 9-13) is designed for young performers who are interested in learning the different skills that make up Broadway. This workshop also features activities that are designed by our experienced and enthusiastic staff specifically to create well-rounded young performing artists. Our program of Musical Theater, Dance (jazz, technique class, tap),Voice, Stage Combat, Basic Movement for Beginners, Acting & Improv, and more culminate in a friends and family final performance! Or are you experienced and looking to take the next step? Audition for our 2-Week Broadway Bound Intensive! Our Elite Audition-only program, Broadway Bound (July 19-23 & 26-30, ages 13-18) is created specifically for pre-professional and aspiring theater performers. This 2-week intensive is designed to push the limits of young professionals with an existing background in performance. Daily classes include Audition Technique, Dance Technique classes, Hand-picked Solo and Group Vocal Work, Headshots, Improv, Scene and Monologue Coaching, Self-Tape Auditions and more to develop your performers Triple Threat abilities. And most exciting of all, the Broadway Bound Intensive Final performance is hand-crafted every year, showcasing the high level of work done by students during the two weeks along with show-stopping numbers from Broadway’s greatest shows.
