Let's keep dancing! In resistance, in joy, in memory, in determination to stay visible as a field.�
On Saturday, October 21st, we aim to have FREE CLASSES ALL OVER THE CITY.�
Centered with Movement of the People's 10th Annual FREE Day of Dance, Dance Rising is working with our partners in All Five Boros to offer and inspire FREE CLASSES.�
There will be ways to take class, dance, and offer your own classes if you choose!�
MORE on this in the next weeks, so save the date and share with friends! 🔥

On behalf of Dance Rising, thank you to all who danced with us on Saturday for our 6th DANCE OUT! ✨��This is a small glimpse into some of the incredible artistry witnessed over the weekend (and some very great sunshine!).

We are honored to be a part of this community, moving together to amplify the diverse voices of our field. Dance artists and workers are vital to our communities and we must be counted.

From 2-5pm tomorrow, Dance Rising member company will offer 3 free, public dance classes right in the beautiful plaza of The Hispanic Society Museum & Library.

Dance Rising NYC is excited to be part of Dance/NYC’s community, an organization promoting the knowledge, appreciation, practice, and performance of dance in the greater metropolitan NYC area! launched the Dance Industry Census — the FIRST effort to have a full picture of NYC’s dance community and we need your help.
