Sat Dec 8th we have the pleasure to welcome Mexican-American singer-songwriter and activist Renee Goust at Latin Music Series! Renee made headlines around the world when her feminist anthem "La Cumbia Feminazi" went viral in 2016. Her sound is culturally diverse, ranging from folk-pop to rancheras and Norteña cumbias. Renee Goust is a songsmith. She travels between genres to tell stories and deliver her message in poignant ways. She will be accompanied with 2 guitars and drums/percussion. Special drinks and tamales!
