A smashing success! Thanks to The York Theatre Company for all their support in continuing to shepherd this charming new musical. Much more to come!

This week we presented "The Yellow Stocking Play" in our Developmental Reading Series at Pearl Studios!

The award-winning musical farce about a 17th Century Shakespeare troupe performing “Twelfth Night” has lyrics by Sarah Knapp, music by Steven M. Alper and a book by D. W. Gregory. The reading was directed by Owen Thompson with music direction by Timothy Splain and the cast featured Laura Darrell , Eddie Korbich and Edward Watts.

Excited to be presenting this next in association with The York Theatre Company!

Earthquakes, crocodiles, and food poisoning have reduced a traveling Shakespeare troupe to only four actors. But when their ingenue elopes with an innkeeper, the leading man is devastated, forcing her other castmates to revise on the fly. Can they keep the backstage drama from derailing the onstage comedy?
