Hi everyone! Here’s the 3rd Hero card. Her name is Lindsora Fralkinn. Can you guess which real world scientist she’s based on? Here’s a hint: her research was focused on determining the 3D structure of DNA. Good luck!

Happy New Year everyone!! The next Hero card has been illustrated. If you need a refresher, Hero cards are based off of real scientists that have contributed to a major breakthrough, but reimagined on Cardea with their name in anagram form. In terms of gameplay mechanics, Hero cards can be played as any of the four colors, so they're pretty strong. If you recall, the first Hero card I unveiled a while ago was Amrie Ureic (Marie Curie). This next one is Sonja Klas, named after the scientist who developed one of the first polio vaccines (Jonas Salk)!

Hey everyone! Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be sharing the artwork of some of the cards in the deck. Some art is still being created, so I’ll be looking for feedback on how to improve. Here’s a sneak peak of a 5 point outbreak card in the desert region of Cardea! All cards will also be accessible to color blind players.

Hi everyone!

Thank you for all of your support so far with this campaign!
It's been an amazing journey and I can't believe we finally passed the finish line.

As a result of your incredible support, we are now able to donate over 1000 games (including no reward pledges) to public schools.
I had only dreamed that we would be able to achieve this number, and it gives me great joy knowing that Crisis on Cardea will help bring even more people together and educate the global community on such a broad level.

I'll see you on Cardea.

Some of the games being donating are going to Chuck Halberstadt ( on Twitter), who created a board game club at his school in Michigan City, Indiana, which quickly gained traction as almost 80 students signed up and they needed more games,

Anyways, that's all from me, and remember that you can still pledge in the next hour so please share with friends!

I'll see you on Cardea.

Help Our Cause

Crisis on Cardea was created by Lucas Sosnick in 2020 at the age of 16.

The game benefits from a hyper futuristic theme but focuses on educating players about the medical and emergency professionals that help us every day.

The objectives while making and distributing this game are two-fold: to make a fun and challenging card game, as well as to help educate and build confidence in today’s medical professionals.

In the spirit of bringing people together and sharing the joy of play, for every game sold, one will be donated to a public school of your choice.
