Elisa Bertaglia (b. 1983) is an Italian who addresses philosophical themes through an oneiric and eclectic language. She investigates the concept of symbol in contemporaneity exploring the worlds of nature, duality and memory, from both an intimate and shared perspective. Bertagliaโs new works focus on the themes of threshold and metamorphosis and most recently on the concept of rest a a creative source.
Most recently, Bertaglia presented a solo exhibition at SARAHCROWN gallery, New York, and a two-person show at the Institute for Classical Architecture and Art, New York (2025). In 2024, her work was featured at the Invisible Collection, New York, and Kiaf Seoul, South Korea. In 2023, she exhibited at Residency Unlimited, Brooklyn, and the Fattori Museum, Livorno, Italy. Her work has been shown in galleries, museums, and institutions internationally, including Palazzo Madama, Turin, Italy; the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Saitama, Japan; the Guggenheim Museum, Venice, Italy; and the Borges Cultural Center, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
