Here are some photos of the actual historic homes depicted on my Christmas cards. Both houses are located in in Staten Island, NY.

The first house is the Edwards-Barton house. It was built ca. 1869. The b/w photo was taken around 1900.

The second house is the Stephens-Prier house. It was built ca. 1857-1859.

The cards depicting both of these houses can be purchased at Historic Richmondtown.

Orchard House, the home of Louisa May Alcott and the setting for for book "Little Women". I based this illustration off of some historic drawings of the house. I also included the four March Sisters and Laurie. I am going to add color to this drawing with watercolors.
