Arcilesi Homberg Fine Art Arcilesi | Homberg Fine Art (AHA) specializes in the work of New York City based emerging artists.

Arcilesi | Homberg Fine Art (AHA) specializes in the work of artists who use their abilities to probe and challenge conventional artistic parameters, eliciting a multi-faceted commentary on contemporary life. AHA integrates works of mid-career and emerging New York-based artists. The works incorporate and combine genres such as pop culture imagery, naïve expressionism, realism, and spiritual alle

gory. The select roster of artists at Arcilesi | Homberg Fine Art (AHA) explore processes of nature and of the human spirit, sometimes incorporating a fantastical and humorous voice, with allusions to socio-political and psychological elements. Each artist’s work exists as its own unique incident – that is, as a testament to its ability to synthesize and transpose its commonality into a visual language. Arcilesi | Homberg Fine Art (AHA) experiments with new spaces by renting temporary venues, sometimes raw spaces, transforming them into a one-night only ‘pop-up’ art extravaganza. This allows us to feature our stable of artists in an unorthodox manner, giving the public an extraordinary experience in diverse locations. Gallery hours: Wednesday - Sunday 12pm - 6pm and by appointment.

Work by Suyeon Na

Working in watercolor and mixed media, Suyeon Na explores migration, identity, and cultural memory through symbolic imagery drawn from folklore, craft traditions, and personal mythology. Her compositions combine influences from Korean Minhwa painting, quilting, and geometric patterning to create layered visual narratives.

In the work titled “Watering” the falling water from a watering can is rendered with delicate hand-stitched silver thread, extending the image beyond the surface of the paper.

Continuing our Women’s History Month selection with works by Robin Schwartz and Miasha Williams

The first photograph by Robin Schwartz depicts Paula Yates .yates.fanpage at London’s Reform Club ,which in 1981 became one of the first traditionally men-only gentlemen’s clubs to admit women on equal terms.

Williams’ works continue a contemporary exploration of identity, structure, and presence through pattern, abstraction, and material gesture.

Women’s voices, histories, and visions remain central this month and beyond..

Rounding out Black History Month, continuing into March, 2026

Featuring work by Yolanda Ross
Yolanda Ross is a multidisciplinary artist, a practitioner of painting, photography & more, and is widely recognized for her work as a writer, director & actress, currently starring in the Showtime series “The Chi.” Her paintings most recently appeared in the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Gala charity auction, supporting social justice initiatives.

Silhouettes of clouds, murmuring vegetation and figures convey both stillness and motion as they conjoin and stand alone. Figures set within interior spaces, ambient light reflects and casts shadows, underscoring Ross’s celebration of people of color and diversity.

Additionally, Ross’s poignant photographic series (coming soon) advocates for social justice & systemic healthcare reform, amplifying the voices & stories of women of color, who have fought, continue to fight & are surviving cancer.

Black History Month, 2026
Featuring work by Dareece Walker
Walker portrays sobering truths about racism, police brutality and social
injustice against Black Americans, reminding us of the systems we have become
embedded in. Searching for a balance, Walker depicts tough as well as tender and
joyful everyday moments from the lives of Black Americans as seen in his recent
project, Black Fathers Matter. Revisiting and reframing the past, Walker integrates
scenarios of “what should have been,” contributing to the potency of his work.
