This is a public plaza with tables, umbrellas and chairs during the day. The Avenue C Plaza is located on McDonald Avenue at Avenue C in Kensington, Brooklyn. It is dedicated to engaging and unifying Kensington and neighborhood communities by way of fun and diverse community arts and cultural events, workshops, educational resources, and more. The Kensington Plaza, our first neighborhood plaza, is

located on the corner of Church Avenue and Beverley Road. One of the busiest corners in the neighborhood., The Kensington Plaza is a terrific place to gather, relax, and enjoy our wonderfully diverse community. These plazas are sponsored by The Kensington Stewards, a local group that works to increase, maintain, and beautify public space in the Kensington community. These plazas are intended to serve and celebrate the different and vibrant cultures of Kensington, Brooklyn.
