Elizabeth "Liz" Waddell, 44, from Cary, North Carolina, is missing.

On Wednesday, July 22nd, Liz went on a beach trip in the Caribbean. That afternoon, she disappeared. No one knows where. No one knows why. No one has seen her since.
Liz had been dealing with a lot. In May, she shared on social media that she was being treated for long-COVID, post-viral illness, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, endometriosis, and perimenopause. She was struggling. But she was fighting. She was trying to live her life despite the pain and exhaustion.
Her husband, Cailen Waddell, is an operations manager for Cary's parks and recreation department. He's a man who builds community. And now his community is shattered because his wife is gone.
