Working on a large canvas even for small scale work, Henning divides the plane into sections as she paints. Once finished she cuts them apart creating the individual works.

House of Leaves is a fantastic experimental novel. Presented as a ‘story within a story,’ this work of metafiction is fascinating to read.

This is one of Kati Henning’s favorite books, as it offers a good look at the fact and fantasy found in her own painted worlds.
