Su***de prevention is important every day of the year. National Su***de Prevention Month gives us an opportunity to shine a special, encouraging light on this topic that affects us all, and send a clear, hopeful message that help is available, and su***de can be prevented.
It’s important to remove the shame from su***de. Su***de victims are not weak, selfish, or attention seeking. They were mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, husbands, wives, cousins, and grandchildren; people who were silently suffering and are missed and loved every day. Together let’s stand to raise awareness and not stigma.

The climate crisis is so much more than a weather issue. When colonialism, capitalism, and white supremacy run rampant in society, they create disasters. To avoid disasters, we desperately need justice. We need harmony. We need balance.
As Maui rebuilds, it’s critical to uphold the vision of public land and water rights, returning it to the people and restoring the harmony of nature that indigenous people knew well.

Kelliann’s commitment to jump in sometimes at a moment’s notice is a true testament to not just her talents but her professionalism. All entertainment professionals, on stage or off, who have had to jump into a new position (especially over the last few weeks) deserve to be recognized and celebrated.
