For pandemic-related reasons and other issues, we have decided to postpone performances of our final program of Open Gates Project’s inaugural season, Global Roots, and re-present it at the beginning of our next season, in the fall of this year. We are extremely excited to announce ever more ambitious undertakings of a full 2022/23 season in the coming weeks, and this Global Roots program will now become a part of that announcement.

Current ticket holders for Global Roots may hold on to their tickets which will be fully honored for the fall presentation of this program, or you may contact GEMS for a full refund.

Explore Argentinian and Armenian music through the medium of Baroque instruments at “Global Roots: Mi Alma, Mi Voz, Mi Corazón” featuring Armenian-Argentinian American mezzo-soprano, Solange Merdinian. Early string specialist Dongmyung Ahn is a performer, educator, and scholar whose interests span from the twelfth to eighteenth centuries. Dongmyung performs with Duo Custos and has appeared with Green Mountain Vespers, Pegasus, Raritan Players, the Sebastians, and TENET Vocal Artists.
