Held each May, the Jubilee transforms the historic streets of New Ulm into a hive of activity. Food, drink and educational offerings as well.

Visitors can explore a diverse marketplace featuring local honey, and unique handcrafted goods.

Attention local beekeepers! The 2026 Austin County Fair is hosting a honey contest! It is a "Black Jar" contest meaning honey samples will be submitted in a black jar with `beekeeper's name hidden and the judge can not see the honey. The honey will be judged on scent and taste only.
Turn in at the Austin County AgriLife Extension Service office or contact the Colorado County Beekeepers, Central Texas Beekeepers or message us here to meet locally to fill a black jar with your honey sample. Deadline to enter is September 28.

The action started early and it was tough to get a break to broadcast live from The Honey Bee Jubilee today. It was definitely Chamber of Commerce weather and fitting to celebrate the wonderful honey bee and the nature that surrounds her.🐝

The New Ulm Chamber gives a huge thanks to our sponsors, all the folks who visited and shopped, to our volunteers, raffle supporters and to our awesome vendors for making this year's Jubilee another success! We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!
