Executive Assistant & Bookkeeper – Full-Time Position or Two-Part-Time Positions
State Street Theater Co. is seeking friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual(s) to join our team as an Executive Assistant & Bookkeeper. This could be a full-time position, or two part-time positions that provide administrative and operational support to our Executive Director, helping keep the theater running smoothly behind the scenes, while also tracking financials.

Key Responsibilities Include:
📌 Office and administrative support
📌 Managing box office sales during box office hours, Mon.-Fri., 9 AM – Noon
📌 Basic bookkeeping support using QuickBooks Online and Excel
📌 Volunteer coordination and scheduling
📌 Event support (including occasional evenings/weekends)
📌 Supporting marketing efforts such as newsletters, print materials, Social Media, and season subscriptions
📌 Tracking and reporting event data and budgets
Skills We’re Looking For:
✅ Strong communication and customer service skills
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PDFs, and related software
✅ Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (or willingness to learn)
✅ Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines
✅ Comfortable working with volunteers, patrons, and event staff
✅ Social media and marketing support experience is a plus
✅ Nonprofit experience is beneficial
Schedule:
🕒 Full-time, 40 hrs./week or two part time positions, 20 hrs./week
🎟 Some flexibility required for occasional evening/weekend events
Education/Experience:
🎓 High school diploma required, some college preferred
📌 Related office or administrative experience strongly encouraged
