Quick follow up to what we started yesterday, dried herbs! To recap: tastes way better than store bought, so simple, and way worth it! Yes I left mine in the cooling oven over night because well, life… you really can’t screw this up!

I swear when it rains I get in my feels!!! Well this morning the sun was shining and the mosquitos were biting and I thought, what a great time to have my coffee outside!

Which led me to wanting to share another tip with you! You know that little herb plant that you bought to sit in your windowsill because you wanted to use fresh? Well either you can’t keep it alive or they get out of control fast… well either way, you don’t need anything major to save those and never have to buy dried spices again. I use mine fresh which keeps the plant producing more and when they start to get bushy, I throw them on a sheet to dry them and keep them in an airtight jar. It’s so simple and they taste so much better than store-bought. I promise you’ll thank me later.

Being intentional doesn’t have to be major… No, tomatoes aren’t necessarily expensive, nor is tomato paste, or sauce, etc… but they tend to involve a lot of waste so in the spirit of Spring and while my tomato plants are going crazy, I thought I’d share, tomato powder!! So simple, replaces several things that take up space in you pantry and uses up your left overs. Try it!!

After seeing handcrafted floral jewelry during a trip filled with sunshine, salt air, and inspiration, the idea came home with us, and slowly turned into a passion project built with heart.

From preserving the beauty of flowers we grow ourselves and transforming them into one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, to creating healthy, natural handcrafted alternatives you won’t find sitting on a store shelf, every product we make carries a little piece of our journey, love, and intention behind it.

What started at kitchen tables, late nights, and long hot market days has continued to grow into something truly special… and today we’re incredibly proud to share a huge milestone for Sea Legs Handcrafted. 💕

Our jewelry can now officially be found at EFG Orchids, where they loved our creations enough to request them for resale, and our handcrafted products are also available at Coastal Corner in Edgewater. To see something that began as a spark of curiosity now sitting on the shelves of local businesses is honestly surreal.

Only real down side of a juice fast is I get bored… so let’s have some fun with it! I love adding different herbs from my garden and how the smell as I sip actually changes the taste AND basil has aromatic compounds (linalool and eugenol) which act as natural stimulants for the nervous system, sharpening focus and alleviate symptoms of stress!
