Join us this Saturday for the unveiling of Strength: Art in Ascent, the 2026–27 staircase installation created by cancer survivors and patients through the Arts in Medicine program.

Celebrate with cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, lemonade, and prosecco while meeting our Arts in Medicine and Halifax Health Navigation teams, along with Andy Clark, whose generous donation helped make this program possible.

We’ll also look back at last year’s unveiling before revealing this year’s installation, celebrating resilience, healing, and the power of art.

Mary is a talented Florida based illustrator and full time artist who uses watercolor and ink to tell stories through her colorful, imaginative work. With a background in museum education and a passion for learning, she continues to explore new creative mediums, including lapidary and silversmithing, where she works with natural stones and metal to create jewelry.
