America 250: Red, White or Blue
May 12 to June 20
RECEPTION: FRIDAY JUNE 12 th, 5-7 PM

commemorative exhibition presented by the
NRAA and hosted by Vanda Gallery, marking the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
The show brings together a diverse community of visual artists in a shared celebration of national identity, artistic expression, and collective history.
For me, this exhibition holds particular significance, as it reconnects me with the community I first began exhibiting my work with at the start of my artistic career.
As an Iranian American, I also carry a quiet sense of gratitude for the service and sacrifice of U.S. soldiers, and for the ways this country continues to support and stand with the Iranian people during this difficult times. Participating in this milestone event not only honors the nation’s legacy, but also reflects the resilience, solidarity, and shared hopes that connect countries across borders.

Gray Matters
Black &White Photography Exhibition
January 15 - February 21

OPENING RECEPTION: JANUARY 17 th, 5-7 PM
This exhibition invites viewers to recognize the significance of gray—the space where life truly unfolds. The world, human experience, and our encounters with one another are rarely black and white; they exist in the in-between. Through monochrome imagery, the curator encourages an awareness of balance between light and darkness, and an appreciation for the role of shadow in shaping perception. Viewers are asked to slow down, to read the unwritten words between the lines, and to look beyond obscurity—finding meaning within uncertainty and images veiled in fog.

Gray Matters is an exploration of ambiguity, emotion, and perception through the lens of monochrome. This collection moves fluidly between fog-laden landscapes, dynamic motion, abstract forms, and sculptural studies, inviting viewers to experience the subtle tensions between stillness and movement, clarity and mystery.
