Tomorrow’s the day! The 2024 Wyoming East Marching Band Camp begins tomorrow, bright and early! All incoming freshmen who would like to join the Marching Band are encouraged to attend this week’s freshmen clinic. Everyone will need an up-to-date physical, good clothes to wear outside, good walking shoes, and their own lunch. Water will be provided. We will work from 8-4 everyday with time for lunch built in. We are excited to welcome everyone tomorrow and look forward to making music with one another. Please share! Thank you!

Good morning, all! The Wyoming East Marching Band Camp is less than a week away! If you know any upcoming freshmen who will be attending Wyoming East, feel free to share this information with them. This year’s show is Creature Feature, including the songs “Monster Mash,” “Werewolves of London,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Thriller.” Band camp will consist of three days with just freshmen and section leaders, followed by two weeks with the full band. The camp will be 8-4 everyday, and students should bring their own lunch. In order to participate, students will need to bring an up to date physical, as well. Hooray for Piper and the Yeager Scholars!

The Society of Yeager Scholars is proud to introduce its 38th class of exceptional students at Marshall University, the Dr. N.J. LoCascio Class of 2028. The eight students in this class will begin their studies at Marshall this fall.

The Wyoming East Warrior Band and Choir will be performing their Spring show "Songs of the Stage and Screen this coming Tuesday evening at 7:00. It is $5 for adults, $2 for students, and children 6 and under get in for free. Come on out to hear some great music from a very talented group of young musicians.

We will also be performing on Monday May 6th at 1:00 for Wyoming East students. Admission for that concert will be $2 for students. Concessions will be sold at both concerts. Thank you for supporting the arts at Wyoming East and in Wyoming County!

The Wyoming East Warrior Band’s Riley Cook has officially been accepted to the Governor’s Honors Academy! This is a prestigious honor bestowed upon a select few of WV’s best and brightest. We’re very proud of you, Riley!

The Wyoming East Choir and Concert Band Present "Songs of the Stage and Screen"! Selections include hits from Broadway musicals such as Hairspray and Chicago, as well as movies like W***y Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Guardians of the Galaxy! Come on out to Wyoming East on Tuesday May 7th at 7:00 for some great music. It's $5 for adults, $2 for students, and free for kids under 6. Concessions will be sold. Thank you for supporting the arts!

** Another showing of their performance will be held during school on Monday May 6th at 1:00 for students and teachers. $2 for students and concessions will be sold.

Wyoming East Theatre celebrated our seniors after their final performance of “The Jungalbook” last night.

Each of these kids helped make our program better, and we’re going to miss them so much next year. I feel beyond lucky that I got to know them, and I’m so thankful that they decided to spend their free time with us making plays. I’m excited to see what they do next!
