Cedar Lake Speedway Cedar Lake Speedway, aka "The Lake", is the premier dirt track in the Midwest.

Cedar Lake Speedway was founded in 1957 and today is a state of the art high banked clay track. The track is open April through September and hosts weekly Saturday evening racing featuring Late Models, Modifieds, Pro Stock, Midwest Modifieds, USRA Late Models & UMSS Traditional Sprint Cars.

Friday, September 18
Qualifying (3 cars for 2 Laps) will be lined up by random pill draw and split evenly into 2 separate groups.
Heat Races (10 Laps) will be lined up based upon Qualifying.
Heat Race Winners will run a Dash Race (6 Laps).

Saturday, September 19
B-Main Features (12 Laps)
Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) (10 Laps)
A-Feature (50 Laps) - $12,000 to Win!

Saturday, August 29 - 1:30 p.m. Update
Mother Nature just isn't cooperating today with almost an inch of rain this morning, high humidity, tropically high dewpoints and very low wind speeds - so, we are forced to cancel today's race! Grrrr!
However, with the invitational season drawing near, Fan Appreciation Night will be moved to Saturday, September 12 with free corn-on-the-cob & t-shirt give-away!
Note : Saturday, September 12 is the $10,000 to Win Midwest Modified event at Cedar Lake Speedway! Come out to see the best Midwest Modifieds put on a great show!

The Lake releases the September 12, 2026 Race Format & Purse for the $10,000 to Win Midwest Modified Special, presented by Caliber Collision! MWMod Drivers & Race Fans - PLEASE SHARE!

Event Format:
Heat Race Lineups will be determined by Pill Draw.
Each MWMod Heat Race will be Split into 2 Groups (Unique to that Particular Heat Race) and then Qualifying Times will be used to determine the Starting Lineup for that Heat Race.
Estimated to have 6 Heat Races lined up based on Qualifying Time.
Top 3 from each Heat Race will transfer to the A-Main Feature.
Remaining cars will be lined up into separate B-Main Feaures with the top 2 or 3 (depending on the number of B-Main Features) from each B-Main Feature transfering to the $10,000 to Win A-Main Feature!
Entry fee is $100 per car.
Midwest Modifieds Sanctioned Cars Allowed : WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, USRA B-Modifieds & IMCA Sport Modifieds (B-Modifieds). Cars must comply with their sanctioning-body rules.
