We look forward to meeting you all of you at our monthly art show on Saturday January 27, 7-10pm

When I first started , people laughed; some even went out of their way to criticize me by calling me a bum and a mockery to true artists etc. etc, pretty much discrediting my craft in any way possible.

I remember posting in groups only for people to inbox/comment extremely hateful things, get kicked out of the group, and admins troll me😫 I used to want to give up, thinking my art would go unnoticed 😔Thinking people are right; I need to find a real job😒

Then, the day I was going to call it quits, I decided to promote one last time; then, when I did, I instantly received 12 commissions the next day, another 20, and continued to receive commissions every single day for 4+ years. I kept on drawing and remained humbled. I stayed consistent with my true style and true self despite the criticism. My art received enough support for me to become a full-time artist 👨🏽‍🎨 🎨🤟🏼✨

Five years later, 7,500+ portraits sold, and I see my style growing in the art world 🤟🏼🎨 I also see artists trying to mirror my approach 🙂 I’m also receiving tons of inboxes asking me for art advice which I prefer to read over hateful comments, any day 😅😅. Long story short, believe in yourself; the world 🌍 is yours.
