Trumpet in the Land’s Friday, July 17, 2026 Performance Cancelled!

As air quality levels continue to be very unhealthy in our area due to the Canadian wildfires, we regrettably must cancel tonight’s performance of Trumpet in the Land. It is never easy to make a decision that affects so many people, both local and out of state, but one that we feel is the most responsible decision for the health and safety of both our audience and our actors.

We will continue to monitor air quality levels in hopes of performing tomorrow night’s opening of Rodgers’ & Hammerstein’s State Fair, and pray that you stay safe and will be able to visit us soon for a performance of Trumpet in the Land, State Fair and Noah from A-Z.

Good evening!

Currently, the air quality for the Tuscarawas Valley is sitting at the hazardous level. Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of both our actors and audience members, we are cancelling tonight’s (Thursday, July 16) performance of Trumpet in the Land.

We hope that you’ll make plans to join us for one of our other performances/events this weekend.

Friday’s performance will be Trumpet in the Land at 8:30pm and Saturday’s performance will be the opening night for our musical, State Fair at 7:30pm.

On Sunday, we will host our picnic on the hill from 1-5pm. Food will be available for purchase or feel free to bring your own picnic lunch. Backstage tours will happen at 1, 3, and 4 and our own Trumpet Singers will perform at 2.

Stay safe and we hope to see you soon!!

If you were headed to the hill tonight, we hope that you will join us for one of our future performances.
