Congratulations Maddie!!!! It’s a wonderful thing to see high school bowlers achieve their dreams even though Coach Aaron said this sounded crazy! Way to go!

We have some exciting news! Help us welcome Maddie to our team.

The Lady Golden Eagles Bowling team opened up their season this past weekend at the Columbia 300 Midwestern Championship at 5-Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, MI. The oil pattern was not all that bad, however the back end was extremely dry causing the bowling balls to take off which caused several missed spares. Because of this, we were making adjustments all day Saturday during the 5 team games. Sunday was 16 Baker games. The ladies worked as a team during the baker games and put up a couple good games.

Our high game sore belongs to Ava Starner with a 182 and was followed by Hailee Ulman with a 180. Allison Knisely started the day off with a 174 game and continued to be consistent all day. Hailee Ulman had the high series with an 800.

Coach Beckley said the this group of ladies is one of the best groups we have had, and with a little more work, we will be right there with bigger schools that we bowl against. We have one more big tournament this coming weekend in Indianapolis then a week off. We start our Conference (American Heartland Bowling Association) tournaments October 24th.

25 years ago today, these two well known bowling coaches said yes. The majority of people that witnessed that unique day in the middle of a golf course and most of the people that still know them today can’t believe they have both survived this long; individually and as a couple! They are the perfect yin and yang. If one is sick the other is perfectly fine. If one is freezing cold the other is sweating. Combined they have been a perfect team always by each other’s side on the lanes, or in the ER. Congratulations on 25 years of marriage and good luck on the next 25!
