🌟 NEW PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT! 🌟

Join me & The New York Times Best Selling graphic novelist 📚
Kayla Miller (“Click”, “Besties”, and more!) for a brand new kind of cooperative comic experience! 🧩💥✍️

Participants will explore storytelling concepts in a creative
& collaborative manner using comic book elements. Young
artists will get to write, draw, improvise, and make each other laugh while learning the basics of narrative structure & comic design.

This first edition of “Puzzle Panels” is designed for bigger Kool Kiddos ages 8-12, but please reach out with any questions, and look for updates on when/where we’ll do it next! 💖

🗓️ The inaugural event will be Monday, June 22nd from 1PM-2:30PM and will be held in the Steinberg Reading Room at Elting Memorial Library!

How to have a great day in late Spring:
1. Visit your local library (bring your friends!)
2. Get a FREE Reiki session to relax your mind, body, and spirit
3. Pick out some fresh new herb plants for your home or community gardens
4. Browse the used book section to find a new favorite (or a few!)
5. Get a sweet new tote bag to store it all
6. Enjoy your new treasures & the beautiful weather on the patio
7. Realize that ALL of these things directly support & fund your local library, meaning you and your community can continue to have days like this!

Our Kool Kiddos even got to request & take home custom illustrations of .made.this characters from her books “Dinky the Tinysaur” and “Little Ghost’s Summerween”! 🦖🦕👻⛱️😎

You are cordially invited to join Miss Kat at Elting Memorial Library for “Sunday Sips: Tea & Teach” on May 10th, a very special Mother’s Day edition of everyone’s favorite “Art-Tea Party”!

All are welcome, though this is a perfect opportunity for a “Mom Break”— Themed like a classic Bridgerton-style Afternoon Tea, we’ll enjoy a calm and inviting atmosphere with instrumental music, complimentary tea service, community, and a plethora of art supplies to explore & experiment with— no experience necessary! 💙
(We also welcome treats from home, should any bakers be so inclined to share their skills!)
